LIGHT UP THE CIVIC DISTRICT!

Light to Night Festival returns to the Civic District with an enhanced six-week festival! Our annual urban art event comprises two editions this year, spanning the indoor and outdoor areas of National Gallery Singapore, The Arts House, Asian Civilisations Museum, The Esplanade Park and Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall.

TRACES AND ECHOES

The 2019 edition of Light to Night Festival invites responses from artists, musicians, and theatre groups to respond to the theme of Trace and Echoes, through the perspective of art, music, film and performance, and to extend the art experience into the outdoor environment of the Civic District.

BIGGEST FACADE LIGHT SHOW IN SINGAPORE

The biggest façade light show in Singapore, Art Skins on Monuments projects images created by artists, illustrators and multimedia designers on the facades of seven iconic buildings in the Civic District. Featuring a unique projection for each edition, The Odyssey will be displayed during the Art Week Edition and 7 Stories from 700 years during the Bicentennial Edition.

SIX WEEKS OF ART AND EXPERIENCES

Experience a multitude of interactive, multi-sensorial artworks, installations and engaging programmes across 7 zones in the Civic District. Featuring local and international artists, Invigorate your senses through the rich history of the Civic District and artist responses, sensorial trails, multimedia, art talks, performances and installation art.
